Hypercubes

What's a cube in 4 dimensions? Or 5? You can almost picture it.

A hypercube is a cube generalised to higher dimensions. A 4D hypercube (tesseract) has 16 vertices, 32 edges, 24 squares, and 8 cubes.

You can't really visualise a 4D cube — but you can project it to 3D, then to 2D on your screen, and see its shadow.
