Why this matters
Skip counting is multiplication in disguise. Counting by 5s — 5, 10, 15, 20 — is the same as 1×5, 2×5, 3×5, 4×5.
Try this
Skip count by 9: 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, 81, 90. Add the two digits of each — they always make 9.
